Service in Narcotics Anonymous

Narcotics Anonymous in South Africa has an service environment active across the country. We have a full complement of local service structures including hospitals & institutions, public relations and our phoneline which all help to fulfil our primary purpose - to carry the message of recovery to the addict that still suffers.

If you are an addict and looking to get involved in service, start by getting involved in your local meeting service. Area service committees are also open to NA members, and take place at the following times:

  • Johannesburg Area - first Tuesday of the month at 6pm (new GSR orientation) for 6:30pm at the St Johns Church Cnr Benmore and Pam Str, Benmore Gardens
  • Pretoria Area - first Thursday of each month at 6:30pm (new GSR orientation) for 7pm at the Brooklyn Methodist Church, 209 Murray St. Brooklyn
  • Kwazulu-Natal Area - first Thursday of the month at 7pm at the Frere Road Presbyterian Church, Frere Road (Ester Roberts Road), Glenwood
  • Western Cape Area - first Friday of the month at 7pm, St Agnes Church, Dublin Road, Woodstock
