How to start an NA meeting

The group is the primary vehicle by which our message is carried. It provides a setting in which a newcomer can identify with recovering addicts and find an atmosphere of recovery.

NA groups are formed and facilitated by NA members, and starting an NA meeting can be relatively easy. While NA meetings may vary greatly in structure and format, they are always started to carry the NA message of recovery to the addict in the most effective way – addict to addict.
