What is a policy?
Policy is at its essence, a set of predetermined course of actions to help guide us as issues arise in our fellowship. As we try to maintain unity it can be difficult to negotiate the complexities of every day living whilst maintaining the Narcotics Anonymous principles. This is why we try to adhere to our policies, created through hard won experience, to steer us toward unity in all our efforts to fulfill our primary purpose – to carry the message to the addict who still suffers.
